You know it's not often you get the chance to play Amiga games and learn about optics at the same time, but last month, a chosen few did just that. We studied together, we merry few, and pondered the very nature of refraction, how it depends upon frequency and how a full spectrum when produced in arcs can kill insects, toys, tanks, robots, monsters and other things. Perhaps one day you too will know this joy, but only if you join this band of merry men (and women).

What next to study, my fellow academics? Only you can decide...

Project-X This vote is for the game we will play in round 5 (August 2005)
Project-X The voting starts now and will end Saturday, August 6th, 24:00 pm (GMT)
Project-X Vote for 5 different games
Project-X Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4pts, third 3pts, fourth 2pts, fifth 1pt.
Project-X Any votes that encompass two clearly different games (ie Pinball Illusions/Dreams), will be discounted.
Project-X Just like the real thing, once you've chosen you can't change your vote, so any edited votes will be discounted.
Project-X The game with the most votes at the end of the period gets played
Project-X These games have already been played so cannot vote for them:

  1. Chaos Engine
  2. Pinball Fantasies
  3. SWIV
  4. Rainbow Islands

Anyone can join in and vote or play at any time, so please come and enjoy the festivities!

AGA only, this Slam Tilt, is it? Hmm. Not sure my poor P233 will cope with emulating that.

Still, I'm extraordinarily busy right now and so I wouldn't mind a month off anyway Smile

Speedball 2 is getting a few votes I see... anyone put any thought into how we're going to play it in a competition setting?

Also, Jams: Since there is no IK on the Amiga, I take it that by IK you meant IK+?

Play a league and post a screenshot of how you have done..

Player with the best overall score wins (say using the pl/wo/lo/dr/fo/ag/pts) in some sort of league on here..

This would be a difficult one!
