Since it seems people are being a bit lax in voting we have a bit of a situation. There are only around 8 or 9 regular players in the compo and only 6 of those voted (in time).

So, as a christmas in August sort of present, I'm asking you to choose what happens from here? You have two days to decide..

While I'd really like to compete in Slamtilt, I regret that I put it as number one on my list. The reason is that Slamtilt is AGA and uses 256 colour high-res interlaced screenmode during multiball. I didn't have in mind that this requires a very fast PC and may prevent some people from taking part at all. Sad

I have not even looked up yet what kind of game "Vital Light" ist but the Lemon64 David's Midnight Magic competition many moons ago was enough pinball for the rest of my life so my vote goes for Vital Light.

I'll jump in for this round to make up numbers (if you'll have me), I'll put my vote for Vital Light for Kim Lemon's reasons.

We would be most glad to have you dude! The more people play, the more fun we have and yeah, playing a compo like this is always good. You nearly always play better than you would by yourself and even if you don't do as well as you like, you get to really see what the game is about from the discussion. Welcome aboard sailer! (Did you see...it's a witty reference to your nick name...you know...seawolf...sailer...oh never mind.)

Kim, nothing to regret. The voting is all about voting for what you want to play, and you want to play it. Unfortunately all the people who didn't want to play have not actually voted, which was very bad of them. And I shall be forced to give them all detentions.

Vital Light, then! Truth be told I'm not a colossal fan, but I'm sure that playing it for a month will allow me to appreciate it's 'hidden depths'.

It's probably just me with the slow ancient PC, isn't it? Look, don't let me put you guys off playing AGA games every so often. Just, don't play them EVERY month, OK?

Got a slow computer as well. Never tried any of that fancy AGA and whatnot stuff.

Not only that but the more voters there are the more interesting the voting as well as the voted games get. When there are only 5 voters voting their favourite games and 4 out of the 5 have a bad taste in games... well Rolling Eyes

Rofl Laughing

I'm sure you were referring to me as the one with the good taste Laughing

I vote Vital light as well, even though I haven't played in the compo yet. I'm not sure I will this month either. Last month I Rainbow Island kept crashing for me and this month holidays are over, so I'll be busy again Crying or Very sad

Right, it seems the majority has spoken. I know this is a big request, given you've only had two days to vote in this, but do you reckon next time you could all actually vote?

Right then...let's play.
