Hi All,
A quick hello from a Newcomer! I think started using the Amiga back around 1990 (the time of Xcopy, Octamed, and Outrun), in those days Amiga Format was full of Amiga Vs the Atari ST (and its single sided floppy disk ahhhh) shortly followed by the Amiga Vs the PC (and its astronomical 20 meg HD games) concluding with the Amiga Vs the world (the well meaning but generally clueless C= sales/marketing people) - I guess I’m showing my age here….
Anyway, it’s great to see the Amiga community still going strong, fantastic site Kim.
My Amiga ‘geek code’ = A500 (1 meg Fast Ram), A1500 (PC XT 8088 card (shhh tell no one!), 50 Meg SCSII disk), A1200 (68EC020 FPU, 20 Meg HDD). Never had a Freeze Frame Cartridge thing, always wanted one. Still got the A1500 but I need to get a new keyboard + mouse, using WinUAE at the moment to relive my youth!
