Budbrain is a 'fun' demo. Good thing there's no voting system though. Hardwired is perhaps, as far as I'm concerned, THE Icon among the Amiga Demo's.

Here are a few from the top of my list:

Red Sector megademo
Cult! This was my first demo... raw guitar riffs on the loading screen. Wink

Scoopex Mental Hangover
What a wonderful experience!

...

aik ...red sector megademo brings back memories *hehehe* ...i was (or am? *hehe*) part of tcc design and did contribute 2 songs (the crappy ones Wink ) to this mega demo, the credits part and the circle twist part. These were the only tunes i've ever released ...for a reason, i guess.

did you know:
- that you can let the juggler do naughty things by pushing the button at the right time (...or was it pressing a key? ...cant remember clearly - will try it out tonight and let you know *g*)
- that the demo killed itself after you finsihed the questions part for the first time 'cause of a corrupt disk writing routine? that's the reason most people even have not seen this part ever! Smile
- delta (our main coder) forced us to draw our own logos in the third part (the one with the fireworks)? - we really hated him for that Wink

oh ...and i remember the copy party in sweden, where rebel and reward of scoopex released there hangover demo in the competition (and won if i remember right). the doofus of the jury who presented the demos stopped it after 30 secs or so not believing that it's a multi part demo. ...but we made him believe *hehehe*

hmm ....i miss these days sometimes ....i really do Razz

It's late and I'm getting drunk so just a few "on-my-mind" fav's...:

Red Sector "Megademo"

Budbrain "Megademo"
Myth "Sick Slideshow II"
Myth "Rise Above"
Scoopex "Mental Hangover"
Kefrens "Desert Dream"
Phenomena "...anything..."

...and that SPACEBALLS demo... it really kicks assssssss...

Not bad - enjoyed it. I remember all the mags at the time going on and on about this one, but there was better stuff.

Technically there was better, but musically, it rocked Smile

Sorry, should have explained myself better. You are of course correct. Excellent music that stole the show, but there was much better stuff technically...

I once actually saw a clip on MTV that used graphics from State of The Art, and the intro from Armour-Geddon. Anyone see that?

Jesus on E's rocked just for the Rolf Harris rap. Someone has to revive the rolf rap for a modern track surely.

Anyone remember Total Triple Trouble by Rebels? I used to love that demo.

However Enigma always sticks in my mind as one of the best amiga demos ever.

Was that the one with some wicked house tunes, if so used to love that demo.

I also remember C.O.M.A. being an awesome demo
