Ok, now that I've gotten my pictures converted, I guess I can post them here.

Now, I'm not gonna fool myself or anyone else by trying to pass this off as art or anything even resembling that. Most of it is just me fooling around on Deluxepaint , and, naturally, they're all drawn in the default resolution (Which I then expanded to double size all over, hence the... erm, pixellation.) Speaking of which, that's how I drew a lot of them. Pixel by pixel.

Anyway, let's get this trainwreck on the road.

First, I'd like to apologize for making Pai look like she's been punched in the face. I guess perspective wasn't my strongest suit at the time. Needless to say, this is the cover of 3x3 eyes vol. 1, which I drew off the VHS cover long ago. (With a few changes to make it fit a picture that was more wide than it was tall, the opposite of a cover picture off a VHS tape.)

The next picture I drew, needless to say, turned out a whole lot better. I would even go so far as to say I got it looking a whole lot like the cover, screen resolution and picture format taken into consideration.

The last 3x3 Eyes picture I made. And... let's face it, Yakumo looks like crap in this one. Also, I forgot to shade Pai's hair at the back there.

Pardon the mixup in Norwegian and English here. That's the kind of crap I usually pulled back then.

"It's time for Aaaanimaaaaniacs. And we're zaaaany tooo the max". Ok, so here mr. Perspective is rearing his ugly head again in the guise of Wakko, who got a head twice the size of the two others. I guess you can't expect the Warner Brothers to behave.

The lack of color and the coarse pixelation aside, I'm quite happy with this. That is to say, the resemblance is, at least, striking.

Uh... please ignore the copycat planets. Simplicity be thy name, I guess. Just a highly experimental image anyway. Nothing to see here. Well, not much at any rate.

No comment. No comment at all.

Um.... to my defense, I knew little to nothing about drugs at the time I made this. That's supposed to be a normal cigarette, yes. ^^;;

The next batch of pictures were made in a program called "Artschool". Basically, you can draw whatever you want there, but there's also a lot of premade stuff that you can fool around with. Hence the... uh, "similarities" in some of the pictures.

I guess this is as simple as it gets. One should always expect something partially inspired from something one has done over the last year. Oh, and "Rrrrett" = "Teeen HUT!"

Guess the game parody and win a prize. (Disclaimer: You won't REALLY win a prize.) The irony is, I guess, that I wasn't THAT much of a 2D fighter fan at the time, but Streetfighter was a well known game anyway.

This one can probably be considered pretty normal, at least among the other pictures in this post. Owls and bears. Expect to see them a lot.

I seriously hope I was drunk when I made this. I mean... seriously.

Weeee collaborative efforts. Also classified as "just putting random crap on one of the preprogrammed backgrounds. Actually, no... I think something that simple had to have been made by me.

Paaartay! Kinda the same we do each summer (except for the snow and the McDonald sponsorship.) Poolparty during winter? In a lake? Any time.

I spelled it "pzycho"? Um... no, I don't know what I was thinking either.

Ah, of course. Can't have a Streetfighter parody without also having a Mortal Kombat parody. Looks more like Sub Zero passed through a gaming cosplay gathering or something, and he didn't like what he saw.

Ok, this IS a premade background, which I then commenced premaking even more. Not sure why that train is running by, and why it's got a mushroom in the cargo trolley, but I can definitely hear that owl on the roof going "You'll be here soon."

And that's that. I got a friend who made a couple of pictures too. Maybe I'll post them later, provided the interest is there.

If you're meaning game parodies, then no. If you mean pictures made on Artschool/Deluxepaint, then I got a few more made by a friend of mine. The pictures above, though, constitutes my entire art period on the Amiga, I'm afraid.

I pixeled another one. The colors are so weird, because it was for a compo on pixeljoint, which gave you a pre-defined palette. Pixeled with D-Paint III on my A500.

You are really good Thumbs Up to the height of the professionals.

Do you participated in any demo group?

What age you had when you made the drawing?

The palette looks very Psygnosis styled, like Beast, Agony, Ork, Leander and similar games.

Well I am in a Demogroup (Speckdrumm.org) but I don't pixel for them. The drawing with the tree was made LAST WEEK actually since I participated in a www.pixeljoint.com compo for fun. It was part of the Compo to draw something decent with those weird colors. Hehe.

Yeah the core guys used few colors and a lot of checkerboard dithering. Chuck Rock II and Wonderdog is full of that.

Hey everyone, I was planning to write a shmup game a month earlier, so I wanted to make that game. Just minutes ago I just created a sprite for my game in Deluxe Paint. Here's a screenshot of it in Deluxe Paint (Not edited.)

I wish I had artistic skill. I use to load up DPaint and try as I might, everything I did looked like shite. My hat is off to you lot.
