Does anyone know how to get moonstone to work properly on WinUAE?
I remember I used to have difficulty on my A600 and even more when I got an A1200 |

Well , you should use whdload .
There's a little ( yeah right ) bug , the game will crash sooner or later when you playing for too long But if you choose the blue knight and kill all guys with the spears everything should be ok . |

Please be aware that Moonstone only works on registered WHDLoad.
But believe me, it's more than worth it. |

My adf works just fine, let me dig it out for you. It does crash from time to time, but just save regularly and it is fine. _________________ Tick, tick, tick... BOOM! |

i completed it on winuae from adf files with no problem too. Could be you haven't setted the configuration well, or you used the bad adf file. try a working adf file from planet emulation:

beware of the pops-up. |

| Found a PC Dos version a long time ago, I remember it was easier to load and play than trying to set up WinUAE |

The boxed version I follwed on Ebay a couple of weeks ago ended at £70.
I remember having the boxed version but all I have now are the disks, but disk 2 doesn't work
I'd love to own the original on the Amiga again but the PC version keeps me going for now! |

Moonstone may have been cracked if you had the non original version, I won't be able to tell until I get my original Moonstone to work weather or not there is a cracked variant of Moonstone.
Never the less Moonstone did use to crash on the copy so unless there it doesn't on the original then I think there is a bug. I think there is a load bug aswell that has a secret command to bypass. I will try to get deeper to find out but I'm useing a1200 so am having trouble getting it to load disk B.
I payed £50 for my boxed set on ebay, the day before I got outbid for just copied disks of Moonstone for £40. That was 6 months ago, last week I see a copy bidding at £40, didn't catch what the bids finished at. There is one today up to £20 bids no box no manual.
The instruction manual is the part to get from the boxed set as it explains the dice game at the tavern, you can then play dragon dice without playing Moonstone once you have the manual. |

| I finished adf version too. This game is buggy I guess, it has nothing to do with crack I am afraid. |

could someone not just scan this, pdf it, and submit it to HOL or something? _________________
