Kim are you planning on adding a demo section?

Scene Demos were as big as games and some ppl enjoy them more Smile

You could elect a few members to add info for demos etc.. and the beauty is you can link directly to download most of them as they are generally free Very Happy

I'll happily add info and I am sure another couple of trusted members would too Smile

Yes, definately planned... but it will take time before it's up.. maybe at the end of 2005 or so. Smile I have no idea when really.

I love Amiga demos... they're almost as important as games for me. And yep, downloads will ofcourse be available, and the same comment/rate thing as with the games.

No need to reinvent the wheel. Wink

I'd be happy to help with something like this, but I don't think the >trusted< can apply Razz

So, which database fields should be used for the demo credits?

After just a quick look into it I'm thinking of something like this:

Group
Title
Release year/date/party/party ranking
Coder
Designer
Graphics/animation
Musician/sound fx
CPU/chipset/memory
Category
Language

Will be quicker than end of next yr!!

I will start working on the admin interface for this soon, and give demo-editor status (based on your forum account) to those who want to help out. Perhaps we could arrange some sort of team. Smile

EDIT: Just saw your post.. and that's exactly what I'm doing. Very Happy

Okedok... the demo admin is pretty much finished.

PM me if you want to join the demo team and help out adding demos. Smile

This requires that you are determined to go for high quality and being very attentive when adding credits, screenshots etc.

Just curious, will there be any downloads for demos (or links for download) as they werent commerical unlike the games are...

Other way, sounds great, never did get to see many demos pushing the migga to the limits!

Cool
