| My brother wanted to register account here so he could be able to vote and comment as well as participate in forum. Registration ran smoothly but no activation link to his e-mail was sent. What to do to activate his account? Why activation e-mail is not being sent? |

Apparently it's something to do with the server, occasionally no email is sent - Kim will be able to fix it but he's away until the 18th so that will have to wait unfortunately.
You could always send him a PM with his username and email address - or send it to me and I will forward it on. Alternatively he could try registering again and hopefully he will get the email second time round. _________________ Lemon/EAB Super League 2013: Round 6 - Arcade Pool

This is Chucky--alias Chuckles.
Due to sign-up problems lastyear, I recieved
2 sign-ins <not sure if that's legal or not>
anyway, I went in to update Chuckles' email,
and the server de-activated me. I dug around
in my old G-Mail archives and found an old
'Chucky' username, with password.
Should I stick with 'Chucky'? or have an
admin fix Chuckles?
I did change IPs recently--this may have
done this--? _________________ Ask not what your Amiga can do for you--ask what you can do for your Amiga! |

ps--
I'm afraid to go back in and try to update my email
on this name, as I might get kicked out again.... _________________ Ask not what your Amiga can do for you--ask what you can do for your Amiga! |

@Graham Humphrey-- I thought you got me back on-
I don't understand why the server kicked me out in the
first place-
I did get an email (I guess, not from you--) that gave me
an activation link and explaining that my deactivation
was likely due to changes I made while changing my email.
I don't know whether the software keeps track of a users
internet provider or not. _________________ Who is John Galt?

It might that server or website's moderator is yet checking that weather the user is valid user or not. It might happen that after a 24 hours of your registration you will get the activation link. I had faced this problem many a times. I might that sometimes the activation link is coming in your trash or spam box. I think he should check that also. _________________ r4 nintendo ds |
