Updated: 11/13/09
Introduction:
Hello everyone!
This is 'Revision 4' of my Amiga WANTED List.
Well, I'm not as new to the world of Amiga now, but I am no veteran. I am still looking at expanding my ever-growing Amiga library--and I need your help.
I'm focusing primarily on buying shmups (shoot-'em-ups), RPGs, and action games--namely side-scrollers like Turrican and top-down shooters like Alien Breed...
...However, I will buy any games that interest me, so I am always open to recommendations and suggestions!
My references:
--I am a 100% positively rated eBay buyer with over 100 transactions since 2002.
~Here is a link to my profile.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Games:
Here are the games I am looking for specifically, along with the priority (Low, Medium, High, etc.) I am placing on finding each game:
--Apidya (High) (*I have a sealed copy, but don't want to open it.)
--Shadow of the Beast I and II -- Big box editions. T-shirts optional. (Low)
--Eye of the Beholder I and II (Low)
--Disposable Hero (Not CD32 version) (Highest Possible!!)
--Lethal Zone (Low)
--Phobia (Low)
--Hybris (Medium)
--...And as always, your recommendations.
If you have one of the above games available, or have a game you would like to recommend, then please reply here or send me a personal message.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Expectations and Guidelines:
--PLEASE: Note the condition of the game and what is included, such as 'disks only' or 'complete'.
--You have the option to name your price. I will gladly consider every offer.
--If you would like me to make the first offer, let me know and I will do so.
--I will gladly pay over $50.00+ U.S. for games that I cannot find elsewhere--especially 'Disposable Hero', which is at the top of my list right now.
~However, to justify the above pricing, games must be complete and in excellent condition.
--Please Note: I frequently visit eBay and vendors of Amiga games, so I know what games typically sell for.
My offers will be priced comparably to items on eBay and other vendors.
--I may request pictures of your games to verify their condition and ensure the legitimacy of the offer.
--I do not take kindly to being cheated or ripped-off. I will do everything in my power to prevent this. I may decline an offer that I find suspect or ask for further proof of legitimacy.
~This is not a personal attack on you, but my personal defense against fraud. Sadly, I have been cheated before on eBay and Amazon.
--I will pay with PayPal. I am a Verified 'Premier' member and would prefer to do business with other Verified or Premier members.
~If you have questions about Premier membership, please ask. It is free and very, very beneficial.
--I am willing to arrange other means of payment.
--I will buy from anyone, anywhere in the world.
So, those are my basic expectations. If you have questions about them or anything else, please message me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In closing...
Even if you're hesitant to sell, please make me an offer. The worst I can do is decline and then neither of us will lose out.
I will update this list regularly and post updates, which will include additions or subtractions to the list and pertinent info.
Thank you in advance for your offers!
(EDITS MADE: I changed the list and a couple of other things.) _________________ Some of the best shmups have been on the Amiga: Apidya, Disposable Hero, Project-X, and so on. Simply amazing...

Thanks for the response! I'll look into the games you have listed. I'll let you know if I'm interested in any of them once I learn more about them. _________________ Some of the best shmups have been on the Amiga: Apidya, Disposable Hero, Project-X, and so on. Simply amazing... |

They have loads of stuff there |
I just checked the site out and it doesn't look like there's anything there--unless I'm looking in the wrong place.
The site hasn't been updated since 2005.
I'll take another look. Maybe I'm going to the wrong site.
Thanks for the information, though! _________________ Some of the best shmups have been on the Amiga: Apidya, Disposable Hero, Project-X, and so on. Simply amazing... |

I don't have time for a proper update right now, but I do need some help.
I'm looking for the manuals, in English for the following games:
-It Came From the Desert
-It Came From the Desert II: Antheads
-Turrican 3
If you have English manuals for the above games and are willing to part with them (for payment, obviously), then please reply or PM me.
Again: I don't need the whole games, just the manuals, in English.
I have the games with German manuals, but as I do not know German, I'm a bit out of luck.
Sure, I can figure the games out without the manuals, but I'd kind of like to be able to read the documentation anyhow. I'm weird, I know.
I'll post a true update when I have time.
Thanks, everyone!
(Although: if you do have the complete games in English, I may be interested. Message me.) _________________ Some of the best shmups have been on the Amiga: Apidya, Disposable Hero, Project-X, and so on. Simply amazing... |
