I love platformers especially 2d platformers, too many places to hide things in 3d platformers. |

That sounds really odd.
108200.
Bug! In last level of castle world there was no water dragon! I play the combination advised by Ze. Looks like completely bug-free version doesnt exist. |

So the green and pink dragon wasn't there http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/9538/fireicethedaringadventu.png. Sorry the ones I suggested didn't work properly for you. I haven't had that problem yet, my main problem now is I suck at the underwater levels and lose most of my lives there.
You might be better using the IPF images and the copy protection sheet, it should function exactly like the original in winUAE. Links are on page 2.
I moved my A500 into my room so I can play with my joystick and play when I am watching TV. I am not ready to post a new score yet, I want to wait until I beat Anakirob. |

I can't really explain it... Maybe it's because one would expect to find only die-hard platformer lovers on these boards, after all it's an Amiga site.
As for underwater levels the problem is that you dont see where you fall in many cases - majority of life losses comes from falling onto an enemy. It's more irritating than in previous levels, because pits are deeper and enemies move in an uncontrollable manner. |

Actually I don't think I ever bought a platformer for the Amiga. I left that to the console noobs. I always felt the Amigas abilities lay elsewhere...I invested more into strategy, RPG and adventures.
Back to topic. Have we decided which adfs are working and which don't? |

Bigfish killed me unexpectedly. I hardly remember underwater levels and I dont use trainer, so maybe it wasnt that unexpected. And teleports are really irritating. |

I got to the first level in the temple. I cant seem to manage to clear this level. I managed to have 9 lives most of the way through the game, you do get more points if you have 9 lives all the time. I don't know how but I got a huge amount of points in the last underwater level, I had 9 lives throughout the level except at one point where I lost one but then I got one back straight away.

Really? How does it work? Collectibles are worth more than 100 points each? |

From the EAB thread

The thing that I find makes the biggest difference to the score is collecting extra lives, or rescuing puppies when one has a full compliment of lives (nine). These are worth an extra 10,000 points each.
Also, don't be too picky when it comes to picking up special weapons, as those are worth 250 points each. Which is as many points as one gets for killing the average baddie. |
I think some other items might give you more points if you have 9 lives. On the last underwater level I started with about 340,000 points and some how ended up with over 600,000. I had 9 lives all the way through except at one point where I lost 1 but got I it back straight away.
I also noticed that if you freeze the enemies when they are flying/falling through the air when they hit the ground you don't get any points but if you wait for the walking enemies to land and then freeze and walk through them you get points. Same goes for the underwater levels if you freeze them and they crash into the ground no points, but if you freeze them and jump through them you get points. |

I didnt notice that, thanks! In underwater levels majority of frozen enemies falls, so loss of points is inevitable. But I can try to watch out for falling gulls, I can get some extra points which I, as it seems now, overlooked . |

If you freeze the enemies in the underwater levels at the right time they don't fall or hit anything. Now I always seem to jump into the gulls falling eggs and lose lives.
But it is easy enough to wait for the jumping things to land and then freeze them or wait for the penguins to walk off the edge of platforms and land to freeze them. |

Hah! Now try to do this without losing lives and finishing levels before penalty fireballs appear. I'm too old and lazy for perfect plays, think Ill stick to average scores. |

| I played with the trainer on last night for a test and in the last underwater level I believe you get a huge amount of points from the green and blue jewels if you have 9 lives. |
