Yes, but they are only exchangeable for cash. They have not impact whatsoever on the Super Comp. Sorry Razz

Welcome to GeeBee Air Rally

Tips:

1. Play on Beginner level until you get bored (which will get you used to flight elevation and negotiation of the levels).
2. Fress fire to switch flight speeds - low or high.
3. From the start, gain altitude and then dive down into the first corner to get full speed.
4. Select 'ACE' mode, fly until you die, and submit your score here:

Score: 45,166

Quite a nice game, I thought it was over after I won the first special event, popping the balloons, but I was wrong.

I know the score in the top corner is red because I missed a corner and flew into the middle of nowhere and time ran out, not sure why it doesn't match the score on the highscore table.

@ Ze Emulation - Excellent score Ze!! I only came across this game on Sunday while desperately trying to find a suitable 'G' game. Having already written off the Gloom games, Generic Species, Gods and Golden Axe as 'too good for a bonus round', I was gonna pick Global Gladiators until this gem came up - and was surprisingly fun and short enough to play.

Looks like you're on target for the 'H' round Ze - better get you're thinking cap on. Wink

I didn't play on beginner, I went straight into Ace mode and finished the first few levels with no time left. I did have more goes than on the highscore table but the ADF was zipped (write protected) so when it asked to to create a highscore file I said no,they weren't very good anyway. The 7000 score was me trying to crash and die on the first level.

TIPS :

don't crash into the other planes

try to stay on the course

on the balloon popping level keep alternating the speed, line up the balloons while going slow and when lined up switch to fly faster, if you stay on fast you will probably miss the balloons

on the bonus level where you have to fly on the left and right of the poles keep alternating speed, line up on the correct side of the pole while going slow and when lined up switch to fly faster

Just a note if playing from the ADF I think you have to unzip the game so it can create the highscore table.

The only G game I could think the other day was of was Great Giana Sisters.

Aparrently I haven't played any games starting with H but if I win I think I pick Hybris.

Ok, this is my second and final go at this - just got to the level past you Ze Emulation, so still plenty of time to beat me.

Tips: Keep your eyes open for the red blocks as they tell you when a sharp bend is coming up. Gaining altitude will make this job much easier. As soon as you feel like you're drifting towards the edge, knock it down to low gear and try to salvage it before you go over the line. Going over the line will deplete the time very quickly. Always dive for the finish line to get max bonus points and time.

Final score: 135,334

For my 'H' game, I'm gonna pick 'Head Over Heels', but it shouldn't be too difficult to beat my score. Would have been nice to introduce more people to this game...

I also got the write protected message when i tried to create a high score file. Sad

This game is like a 3D version of Sky Jinks

@ Robotron - 111k is a great score - thanks for joining us.

To unpack the game you can grab a free version of WinRAR for PC here. Simply install the package, right click the zipped archive and select 'Extract Here' to unpack.

If the 'save' requestor still comes up after unpacking, simply delete the file path from the requestor and click 'retry' and this should save a hiscore file to the ADFs 'data' directory called 'GB92'.

I think your score would have been better than that, when lifeschool and I finished off the course the highscore table said we got more points than it said in the corner.

I usually just leave them zipped so they are write protected, so if I want to transfer them to my Amiga they still have the original highscores, etc intact for when I write protect the real floppy disk. If the disk requires writing I unzip it but I keep the original download zipped up.

Don't think I'll have another go, working on updating/fixing Manhole.
