I grew up in a part of Hartlepool called Seaton Carew. I mispent most of my youth hanging out at the arcades playing all the latest games, dinking cider and unsuccessfully trying to pull birds .
My first computer was a VIC 20, which was quickly replaced with a C64, and then an Amiga 500. My Amiga came to University with me, but too many late nights playing full length games off Kick Off II, drinking and smoking ensured that I had dropped out after only a year!
Back home to a year of doing nothing -well going to art school, and drinking too much a the 'GEM' night club. (Lemon's very own LeeT was the DJ at the time).
The time came when I had to get a job, and after various careers ended up in computers. Bought my first PC and 1995 and not long after this discovered emulation. I still rememver the joy at playing the arcade version of Outrun for the first time.
I now emulate and collect most systems - prefer the old skool much better than most of todays rubbish!
Fav Album: The Stone Roses: The Stone Roses
Fav Game: Final Fantasy Tactics (I know this makes me a geek)
Fav Movie: Shaw Shank Redemption
Anyway I'm sure I've said too much and nobodies reading now,..... |

Hi there thechap - another Vic20 owner.. I wonder if we should all start a Vic20 forum.. maybe not
Definately have to agree with the "todays rubbish" statement very true.
I loved Outrun in the arcades.. wasn't too good on the Amiga - although a sequel was.. can't remember the one I'm thinking of offhand though
strat/rpg "geeks" are very welcome here also _________________ Please refer all site and database related matters directly to me - incl. missing games, links, screenshots and suggestions. |

The GBA version is good, but the Playstation version is my fav. The game is 10 years old and old skool gameplay! |

I've missed that one.
I liked GBA version, will look for PSX version. (it's hard to find old titles here)
Thanks! |

Here they even sell those old titles still in stores. I see them laying and getting old over here. _________________ International Karate is being remade on the PS2 |
