We're happy to announce that Lemon Amiga can finally be found on YouTube. Our channel LemonTubeAmiga is open to all members who may submit their Amiga (or Commodore) related videos - this could include tutorials, tips, group meets, gaming sessions, you name it!
Please note that all Lemon Amiga rules apply to content to be submitted for upload (with the addition of complying with copyright laws).
To submit a video please contact an admin, lifeschool or Shawn Dimery for further information.
Just how popular this channel is or isn't is up to you - get creating!
This thread is a place holder for our YouTube channel.. and will be edited (but not locked).

Just an update to say three brand new videos have been uploaded to the Lemon Amiga channel. All done by me.
The Settlers - This is my first video review, so I thought I'd combine a review with a few playing tips and a mini walkthru. The screenmode looks a little streched in this first video, but it is in full HD widescreen. Not quite a 'Matt Chat Version', but at least I spent more than 2 minutes actually playing and reviewing the actual game.
Batman (The Movie) - A playthru of the game, showing all five sections. I corrected the aspect ratio on this one as a compromise between the square screen original and the widescreen review.
Vroom & Datadisk - A Track by track playthru guide of all six levels in Vroom and all six levels of the Datadisk. Also includes a look at the Multiplayer version, the 'F1' version, and the F1 WC Edition.

Enjoyed watching Vroom, tho that F1 WC Edition which I never saw does so much want to be Sega's Super Monaco. Should of kept with the original design as Vroom was doing things only Virtua Racing would do better later on and it remained that way until it all went 3D with texture mapping ect... Thanks guys for the great response. Totally agree that F1 WC Edition was more like a clone of Super Monaco (1991), but WC E is at least a bit more playable You can tell they simply updated the graphics on the same track engine, but somehow this 'reimagining' just made the game worse!
Sound: I was struggling to balance the music and SFX with the voiceover, but I tried to reach some kind of compromise. At least they sound good on my 12" speakers! But I'll definitely bare this in mind when I do some more...
Editing: I use Camtasia 7 to grab the vids, with UAE in 'Window' mode, and the game configured to output Sound Effects only. I'm pretty happy with the results, and they are certainly better than the cam rips I made before. On the downside you don't get to hear the classic joystick clicks as I play, but perhaps it is better because you also don't get to hear the swearing. After that I import the AVI rip from Camtasia into VideoStudio x4, download the game music as MP3 and layer it over the edited vid (so that the music doesn't cut out when I skip through the levels), and then add the voiceover at the end with a stereo mic. Save as Mp4 HD - which stretches the vid to full screen and maintains the picture quality 100%.

I just made a small video which might serve as a HD installation guide. It's in 4:3 full screen mode, although most of the clear definition of the original recording has disappeared by the time Youtube had finished with it. For this reason, I strongly recommend viewing it in full screen mode and at 480p or above.
This is a quick visual guide to setting up a hard drive file through WinUAE, using either the Non-RDB method or with the RDB mode enabled.
Without RDB mode is faster - takes seconds.
With RDB mode selected means you'll have to use HDToolbox to get the drive 'recognised' by the system, in order for you to format it.

Notes: Since I made this video I realise there was a loophole.. ..How DO you get the FastFileSystem from your Amiga over to your PC? I'm working on it...
NOTE that the RDB mode installation should be pretty much the same as you would expect an authentic Amiga HD to operate, i.e. the drive will NOT BE recognised by the system until you use some kind of HD installation tool (as demonstrated), and then the drive can be partitioned and formatted.

This will be very helpful to those having WinUAE HDD troubles - if you fancy making a video answering the most popular question "how can I transfer files from PC to Amiga and vice-versa.." that'd be yet another highly valued tutorial

Rick Dangerous II - This play-guide review walks the player though the first half of the games' initial four levels, giving the player a general overview as well as advice and tips along the way. The last level is not shown because I ran out of 'Youtube time' - see bottom.
Stunt Car Racer - A play-guide of the game showing one hot lap from all eight tracks. The guide also covers the 'Super League' mode, and includes a look at the TNT version; - with hot laps of two TNT courses at the end. I corrected the aspect ratio on this one as a compromise between the square screen original and the widescreen review.
SWIV - A real-time play-guide of the first 15 minutes (42%) of the game, showing some of the hazards and scenarios SWIV has to offer. Also includes general tips and advice.
Thanks for taking the time to look over these. I will try to get a few more done soon. My next batch will consentrate on some lesser known games.

Important Notice about the Youtube Time Limit:
Up until today, Youtube had not provided a means to upgrade the Lemon account to allow videos of longer than 15 minutes. I understand this has now been fixed; - so from this moment forward the Lemon Youtube account should now be able to handle videos of any length, and up to 2GB in size. (!)

Of course I have to be able to play those games you mentioned to be able to give it the full 'game guide' treatment. There would be no point me trying to cover XenonII for example if I can't even get off level 1.

Rick Dangerous is a classic, much loved on C64, Amiga by me & Kim.
If I said some 10 or so years ago Kim started making map's of Rick Dangerous C64 which were screen shots all joined together as one MASSIVE image then that may bring back a memory or two for Kim - emucamp lol.
You did a good job on Rick D lifeschool. You played well, very slick and man I have long forgot much of it and some screens I have not seen in a good while.
I do have an original copy of Rick D 2.1, I was cover disk crazy back in the days before CD came along. It spent years in my disk box as I always thought it was a Demo of Rick 2 for Amiga & ST having the original game so I never loaded it!! Many years later I found out what it really WAS and what a surprise!!
