Why do so little PC games have MOD music? Despite Sound Blaster and following cards having PCM playback capability, this was mostly only used to playback low quality sample effects in-game, and not for music, why is that? Most PC games up to 1995 use that synthetised Adlib stuff and... while it has its own specific style just like Amiga has MODs, it sounds like crap compared to tracked music Why didn't PC developers from the era since the first Sound Blaster use tracked music instead of something that sounds like a glorified toy keyboard? Now, I appreciate some Adlib tunes (for example from Dune 1), but most of it sounds the same. PC was capable of playing MODs quite well (although with lesser sound quality until Gravis Ultra Sound [which very few people had]) since Sound Blaster 1.0 (and with high CPU usage even on the PC speaker), why was this almost never used? True, Paula is a full-fledged chip while early SBs were mostly off-the-shelf DAC+Adlib so SB ate some CPU power, but still, even Prehistorik 2 managed to have .mod music and it was programmed on a 12 Mhz 286.

I think you need to calm down. One person posting an image in another thread does not equal the entire forum thinking you're a troll so I think you're better off letting it go.
