Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmZL_D-c_qM

More than likely it will be the re-released Sega Racing Classic which has all license issue related stuff linked to Daytona USA removed such as art and song wording.

Who cares. Either way we have been waiting a life time for a port of the original best selling arcade machine of all time to come home in it's purest form as can be. With Sega as they are today we will take it regardless being fully licensed or not.

COME ON HOME TO PAPA!!! Very Happy

You can have them all ! (all model3 SEGA games/roms, except 2 or 3 of them temporally unemulated)
...and for free - on SuperModel emulator (recently devs added sound!) :

XBLA is slowly becoming a shrine dedicated to Sega games. And that's exactly why I like it.

Cheers Jolly Roger. I kinda gave up as soon as Emulation was mentioned.

If I wanted to emu Daytona USA I would but to some the game means a lot more than a quick fix from a cheap down load when you have the Sega Saturn & Dreamcast versions sat next to you. Rather own it and pledge my wedge hoping Sega will do something else. Slowly but surely we are getting there... and I'm not too fussed about Daytona USA 2 or Scud Race but if they come I will gladly take them.

XBOX 360 in action. Wow look at the draw distance over the original arcade machine! Very Happy

Daytona USA will be available as a speedy digital download on October 26th for XBLA (800 Microsoft Points) in North America and Europe and October 25th for PSN ($9.99) in North America. Daytona will release on PSN late November in Europe...

Sadly, this game hasn't aged very well at all. I remember being bowled over when I first saw this and games like it in the mid 90s....now it just looks so meh. Evil or Very Mad
