Eggcellent! It's about time the codies got back to their roots. If someone came up to me and said "Name a game by Codemasters" I'd say Dizzy - even beyond F1 2011 and Dirt 3! - which I love - weird that.

Can we expect a rash of Advanced <insert sport here> Simulator games in the future? Actually a full 3D polygon version of BMX/Dirt-bike Simulator might not be such a bad idea.

That's pretty disappointing news to be honest. Maybe an Xbox Live release?

Yeah, disappointing. Yolkfolk is 20 mins long. Better if they'd made a new 20 min game and release on PSN / Xbox. And thrown in multiplayer, 3D, instant replays, voice commands, massive frying pan battles, electric vampire nuns, and the cute chick from Rodland.

God! out of all the Dizzy games, Yolkfolk is just about the easiest, shortest and most disappointing of the whole series. Spellbound may have been dull (and massive), and Fantastic Dizzy was also too big for it's own boots, but anything is better than that Yolkfolk effort.

Seems like there's no middle ground anymore between pathetically easy kiddie games and adult games with guns. What happened?

It's not that bad lifeschool, and it has great music. I rather like it so long as it's being sold cheap. I feel no need to buy it again though. Not that I have anything it'll run on anyway.

I picked it up, it looks nice plays fine to. I am not 100% sold on the way it controls however. I hope it leads to something more. IE more ramkes on XBLA/ PSN or even a new game
