Happy rest of the Birthday! Razz

Im stepping out from the competition. I run Chaos today, but quit it just after that, I simply lost desire to replay the game once again from the beginning. So Im happy with whichever place Ill take.

Ahh! For a second there I thought you meant you were going to step out of the whole competition. No problem, that's it for me too. You did great - fantastic second place and a really good position in the championship. Fingers crossed the Lemoners get the round win as well... I know we can do it. Smile

The Chaos Engine OCS - Video Review
In this video we move through each of the 16 levels in this game; where I attempt to show you various routes and tricks to accumulate a larger high score, including what to buy in the shop and how to build up lots of those essential extra lives. This playthru took 1hr 45mins - so the video has been speeded up slightly to knock that down to 1hr 15mins of viewing time. Presented in widescreen.

BTW, this is the video I made of my 56,690 scoring run, so the end screen is the same as the competition entry screenshot. No savestates used.

Last day of this round of competition. Smile

Lemon have a nice lead but all it would take for an EAB to make it very close is for one more EAB player to get a 50,000+ score.

EAB don't really seem to be into the Super League at the moment.

Been 35 replies on the EAB thread, 112 on the LA. 1,029 views on the EAB thread, 2,291 on the LA. Razz

Well just in case anybody gets any bright ideas, this is my counter-measure:

Score: 58,260

The only major difference in this run happened on level 4.1 - the sewers. Instead of turning the dial and going the easy/fast way down the hole, I chose instead to go the top way towards more score. This resulted in me going through the 'A' exit on 4.1 which brought me out into a major scoring zone at the start of 4.2 - which was far more productive than anticipated. So that's how I did it.

Hopefully that will SECURE the forth place position! Twisted Evil

Apologies for not even posting a score. I've had a crazy few weeks that's left me shattered.

Good work LA! Fingers crossed we don't get any late EAB surges!
