Just reviewed Exolon on my blog.
What a pile of sh!te that was/is.
It makes me angry as it was a great game on the 8-bit machines - then we were given a rank amateur effort.
If anyone fancies a read it's here:
Exolon

You are right, it was my favourite game on Sharp MZ800 and C64. I was looking forward to play it on my Amiga and I was really dissappointed. _________________

Same here - I played it to death on my Speccy
I sentenced it to death on my Amiga. _________________ Love Amiga Games?

Agreed. For me the speccy version is still the best. |

I loved this on the Amstrad CPC - what an awesome version - then I played it on the Amiga and hated it |

I agree with you.
The PC remake of Exolon is good and C64 version. _________________ Cj's Elephant Antics , finished the game 2013-05-13 |

The CPC version was good. One of many classics programmed by Raffaele Cecco. Before I saw this thread, I never knew Exolon came out on the Amiga.. _________________ Patrick Furlong |

| Boring game in every version for me. Designed only to turn around the color clash of the Spectrum ... |

Back in the days, I was happy to see that Amiga version of Exolon is out there...
On my beloved ZX Spectrum 48K that was one of the best games on system and when I saw Exolon on my new purchased computer - I was disappointed to the ground !!! I returned the game and changed for Battle Squadron. Even today I am pleased with BS _________________ ☭ Some people says : Amiga has no future ! ☭ |
