I'm not the internet Police and I know it's a little quite but this might be better off posted under Software & Hardware.
In most cases if your using the native screen modes you will need a Scan Doubler.
As an example: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=414
If you have an older Multi-sync monitor there is an 800x600 screen mode which is laced so will not work on a normal PC monitor which can be found off aminet. Yes you can run an A1200 AGA in 800x600 as a driver does exist.
Of course if you have a GFX card such as a Picasso II then a Multi-sync monitor is a must as you can display both AGA & VGA.
A Picasso IV is VGA only, but some people if the 1200 was in a tower would connect the actual video out of the 1200 to another screen for that.
It can be done, but a Scan Doubler is your best bet. _________________ A1200T, Apollo 1260, 32MB RAM, 3.1 ROMS, 4GB HD, Z4 Board, Picasso II, IOBlix (Serial/Parallel), Squirrel SCSI, 2X CD, IDE 100MB Zip Drive, OS - DOpus Magellan II. Plus an A500+ Yum. |
