|
|
Hello all,
I have set up Winuae and am trying to play Goal!... The problem is when I try and save I receive this message:
Disk Request
Please Insert:
>Data<
In any drive
I have tried to insert a blank floppy. But I am still unable to save.
Could anybody provide me with some help. I have been stuck with playing the ms-dos version. But the amiga version is substancially better.
Thank You,
Jose Andrade |

Try using your Save State function--it's on the Miscellaneous
tab. If you want to use a disk anyway, some games require
a specially formatted disk. On the Floppy Drives tab, there are
2 disk makers: one is Create Standard Disk; the other--Create
Custom Disk; you'll notice too, there is a pull-down tab to the
left with functions of DoubleDensity, HD, 5.25" ect. It's easier to
go with the Save State function... _________________ Who is John Galt?

| In this instance this wouldn't be of help. The game offers the ability to edit the squad names and kits. And then save it as an additional league. With a save state it would only give me the chance to open one editing league at a time. |

I have been trying and trying. Even purchased amiga forever but I can't even seem to save it with that!
A real shame, a game which allows club editing and can't be used. |

When Amiga says : Please insert "NAME OF THE DISK" in Df0: - it means that You have to insert disk in internal disk drive with that EXACT name ! _________________ ☭ Some people says : Amiga has no future ! ☭ |

| You have to format a disk in goal!. Go to options->clear disk->format disk. But I always get the message error -20, Disk probably damaged. So I guess, someone with a real amiga has to sent you an adf file of the data disk. I can't do so, as I'm just using WinUAE as well. |
