I don't think speed is the issue. ST Super Sprint is crazy fast and very unforgiving on the later courses as if it suffers from under steer big time. Put it this way, I own it on ST and know your are more likely to end a game on 1 credit from mistakes alone as the AI are too slow.
Could just be a simple case of being AGA only
You know Zeewolf is just about playable on A500/+ and not much difference on a stock A1200. Slap an 030/50 inside that A1200 and wow the game now plays beautiful. _________________ A1200T, Apollo 1260, 32MB RAM, 3.1 ROMS, 4GB HD, Z4 Board, Picasso II, IOBlix (Serial/Parallel), Squirrel SCSI, 2X CD, IDE 100MB Zip Drive, OS - DOpus Magellan II. Plus an A500+ Yum. |

Rise from your Grave A1200!
I finally got around to getting some sort of spare A1200 up and running yesterday with no DF0: as it's shagged.
Naked as the day it was born but using DF1 as a boot drive lol, yeah Super Sprint AGA is dog slow on a stock A1200.
And the reason for building up a quick A1200 was this...
I slapped in my Blizzard 1230/50 IV, (first time in 14 years) and Super Sprint is running at the perfect speed!!!
Indeed guy and girls, Super Sprint speeds up with an accelerator.
Only thing that lets is down is sound. Wish they'd updated the sound to take advantage of the Amiga.
Small bug. If you write protect the disc it will want to save your high score to it, but if you click CANCEL when the requester pops up then it's GAME OVER as your left with a CLI prompt. Reboot time.
If you have a AGA based Amiga, bit of speed and a minimum of an 030 then enjoy Super Sprint on the Amiga. _________________ A1200T, Apollo 1260, 32MB RAM, 3.1 ROMS, 4GB HD, Z4 Board, Picasso II, IOBlix (Serial/Parallel), Squirrel SCSI, 2X CD, IDE 100MB Zip Drive, OS - DOpus Magellan II. | Thanks for these. I'd love to see an Amiga port of Crystal Castles. |

Your need an A1200 minimal to play them... _________________ A1200T, Apollo 1260, 32MB RAM, 3.1 ROMS, 4GB HD, Z4 Board, Picasso II, IOBlix (Serial/Parallel), Squirrel SCSI, 2X CD, IDE 100MB Zip Drive, OS - DOpus Magellan II. Yeah shame they don't run on the classic hardware. Great effort tho to bring new games and such games to the mig! _________________ A1200T, Apollo 1260, 32MB RAM, 3.1 ROMS, 4GB HD, Z4 Board, Picasso II, IOBlix (Serial/Parallel), Squirrel SCSI, 2X CD, IDE 100MB Zip Drive, OS - DOpus Magellan II.
