Yep believe it or not..the day has finally come where a new motherboard will be available to run OS4/4.1 more info at http://www.amigakit.com
wow im sure alot of stuff is gonna finally come out about the loooong law suits bewteen Hyperion and Amiga Inc et all...but who cares finally the Amiga OS can move forward rather than backward _________________ _______________________________________________________

Ill be buying for sure once my pocket book allows and a cheaper combo package of the Sam mb and OS4.1 becomes available from Amigakit.com.....right now though my new Indivision 24bit internal flicker/scandoubler for my 1200 just got here yesterday and I stayed up till 3 last night messing with it....awesome man loving the Amiga like crazy these days _________________ _______________________________________________________

No..thats a yes but not asap as I am unfortunately not made of money I came 'this close' to buying a mac mini solely to run OS4/4.1..I dont care for Apple at all and I will shortly be in the market for a home pc as I use my HP notebook for business.....I damn as hell will support Amiga over Apple on my next desktop pc _________________ _______________________________________________________

I thought Amiga had wrapped up in all real terms.. and all we have is a name?.. a name that surely if worth while will/could be bought at some point by Apple or MS? _________________ Please refer all site and database related matters directly to me - incl. missing games, links, screenshots and suggestions.
So what is it you plan to do with Amiga OS 4.1, klx300r?
basically everything you do now with a new Mac ..except supporting the future of Amiga and not the pockets of the 2 college drop outs who started Apple I have my 64,128, 500 and my 1200 for my retro needs _________________ _______________________________________________________

woh! Reviving an old thread I see since then I've owned and sold my Samflex@800 by ACube running AmigaOS4.1 update 3 and now I'm running AmigaOS4.1 update 5 on my AmigaOne X1000
btw, MorphOS seems like a nice Amiga inspired OS but I have an aversion to old & new Apple products _________________ _______________________________________________________

I know this is an old thread, but please somebody explain, what's the point of OS4.x? What can you do with it and why should I get it? _________________ Amigas Owned: A1000 (NTSC, 512KB RAM)

A600 (PAL, 2.05, ECS, 2MB+PCMCIA HDD), A1200 (PAL, 3.0, AGA, 4GB CF card, 6MB)

A1500 (NTSC, 2.04, ECS, 4MB, BuddhaIDE, HDD & CD-ROM)
