Thanks again.

Btw anyone here involved or ever make it on the show?? There always seems to be one lucky sod I meet on every Forum!

Watching it again the Intro and whole format just looks great for the time... as it did back then Smile

Genius having Patrick Moore as the Games master. Having him read out cheat codes to kids - obviously not having a clue what he was talking about. Laughing Great character.

hehe- yeah I heard him on 'Sky at Night' once (or maybe an interview... sorry, corrupted memory Wink ) saying he had no clue what he was talking about with the Gamesmaster scripts!

Fair play to him for wearing the cyberpunk get-up though... still looks cool even now!
Legend of a man!

I'm sure the UK could do with a good Gaming TV program now it's all digital?...
someone should rework the format! I'd certainly still watch (or host! Smile ) or at least run the original PP episodes for late-night...

I saw him on the sky at night the other night, he really looks his age now (89), some of his sections made me laugh like the one where he took revenge on the gulls with machine guns on the oil rig series haha

Why buy them when I can watch them all on youtube? Just completed watching the first series last night; it has lost NON of it's magic over the years, and I can tell you, those extra corny lines uttered by Diamond are as lamely hilarious now as they ever were then!

If you guys like old, British video game shows, you might want to check this guy's channel out.

http://www.youtube.com/user/DKTronics70/videos?sort=da&view=0

He has a few old episodes of GamesMaster, but he also has a few episodes of Bad Influence, Bits, When Games Attack (with Dom), Cybernet, Thumb Bandits & Gamesworld.

I found most of them pretty entertaining & nostalgic.

I didn't buy them just covers and labels were included with AVIs Wink

The quality is great on the AVIs vs youtube and youtube has only about 20% on there.
