System Shock 2 is quite cult actually. If you ask on a forum what is people's favorite game ever, or the best first person rpg, or the spookiest game, it's mentionned every two posts. It has a Deus Ex status.
If you look for games of that quality that are actually obscure, I think you could try Arx Fatalis. Totally impressive (especially given its bland setup : an underground fantasy rpg starting with amnesia syndrome), but totally unsung. And this I can't understand - nor can anyone who played it. |

@eltar: like you say, now that I'm aware of it I can see it does indeed have a cult following. I mentioned it to someone at work and they started getting all nostalgic and showed how he had it on his laptop for playing when the boss isn't looking.
Id totally never seen it before.
I've also started playing he x-wing star wars series from the 90s. It's very cool too, but obviously much more mainstream. |

| Just started Limbo. Two hours went by in a flash. I'm amazed at the artistry that went into this game. One of the most unique-looking games I've ever seen. |

Hey, I like to play that as well(well, maybe not, if you are actually playing any instrument at a Neil Young concert(though I would be jealous)). |

Great taste akabei! Great album, Neil Young's early 70s work blows me away. _________________ Never trust a man with a mustache...

Mass Effect 3. Before that I played parts 1 and 2. For me this trilogy is one of the best rpg games when action is set in a distant future.
Love Shepard from the 3rd part. |

I hate Free-to-play MMORPG's but thought I'd give the Star Trek Online game a go.Not that impressed at the minute. Can see why people aren't willing to fork out for it.
Heard Star Wars The Old Republic lost around four hundred thousand subs rom the turn of the year.
I always said SWTOR would go this way(The reason why I didn't buy it). They think they can make an MMORPG your average Console game, but what do you do when you complete the content of your average console game? You bugger off and don't play it again.
When will they learn that it's all about community and making your own story with the people you play with in an ONLINE game.
It's not a Call of Duty game where people will come back over and over to shoot the shit out of each other. |

May Payne 3 on the 360
Had doubts but it still feels and plays like a Max Payne game.
Bit too many cut scenes where I feel you could have played them rather than watch the action, but all is good. Voice acting is excellent with typical Max quips delivered in a dead pan manner.
Just on to the 2nd disc now. _________________ Fave Amiga Games:
