Google hasn't been much help to me on this one, other than it may be something to do with DirectX?
I can usually get the game to run after, but this error now pops up on every rom I load, and it never used to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Thanks, I recently updated all my graphic and display drivers on order to run The Sims 2, so I'm sure that can't be the issue.
I'm on Windows XP, I downloaded the relevant DirectX installer but it said no installation was necessary as an equivalent or newer was already installed. Any more ideas please? Thanks a lot |

Have you enabled any filters by any chance ?
See if changing Graphics API in Miscellaneous tab in WinUAE setings from Direct3D to DirectDraw solves the issue.
If the problem persists you could ask for assistance at the official WinUAE board. _________________ RIP mom (1953-2008) |

I changed it to DirectDraw and that's solved the problem. Thanks a lot! |
