Hi
Is it possible to convert a Amiga 1200 with english power supply to work safely with USA power?
Or Can I use a amiga 500 power unit ?
I am not very knowledgeable with electrical work.
Thanks, Peter |

| An(american) A500 power unit should do the job. |

| Absolutely! A North American PSU will have your A1200 working fine. |

When I lived in Israel, I used at 240-120V step down transformer which I
bought at a local electrical store. I used it to run my A500 with US PDU, and had no problems. The power in Israel is 50-hertz, in USA 60-hertz. Close enough to work without problems.
Just get one that has enough power (watts) for the load. _________________ PapaBear
