The WHDLoad version quits with an error after a few seconds for me. It's not so important, as I can still play the adf. I just want to know, if it's my fault, because I'm quite new to WHDLoad.

ECS is the version we are playing because im unsure of whether they are identical. If you would like to compare the scoring in the AGA version that would be useful for future reference.

Indeed it is. Reminds a little on Bubble Bobble and Qwak, even Rick Dangerous and it's not very long game, so it's even more suitable for these short rounds, although I would love to see it in compo also. Smile

Here's my first try:

129,900

small tip:
Enemies with an arrow blinking on them give you golden coins which are worth 800 each. So always try, if it's possible, to destroy those with an arrow on them first, to give you more points, otherwise enemies killed without arrow on them give you blue coins which are worth 400 each.

First attempt:

Score: 81,700

I'm using the WHDload version as linked, no problems (using ver 16.4 or 16.2).

I found the bonus levels but it's hard for me to collect many hearts, im ok with the levels.

On this screen I was killed by a single drop of water. The programmers are still laughing to this day.

Second attempt:

Score: 131,500

Got a bit further this time and managed to do most of the bonuses. I feel like I was somewhere near the end of world 2.

I got the whdload to run. If I'm using the classicwb installation, it's running fine. If I'm starting it with the normal installation from Workbench disks, I get an error. Good to know for future competitions.

Third try:

Score: 145,100

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! I got to the same place as my previous run but with five lives remaining instead of one. I jumped up to the next screen but the scrolling broke and I ended up falling down in an endless loop. Evil or Very Mad

Will try for world 3 tomorrow.

It has to be somewhere close to the last boss in level 4 when I lost my last life.
@lifeschool, sorry to see that.. Bugs are always pain in the ass, especially when you can't do anything to move on.
