Hi,

I did a few when I was at school, me and my mates used to record comedy sketches, sample them and make crazy demos.. Not that I could code, I just used sound players and picture show utilities. Other than that I did the odd PD games compilation, Oh, and made some Worms levels. My name back in the day was Agent Amiga and then I "rebranded" to Mark's Productions (God, im so original).. I think my Worms levels are on aminet somewhere.

I made a few games using SEUCK (all were VERY bad lol) but none that I coded myself.

I was really into making music using OctaMED though. I did quite a few covers of Jean Michel Jarre and a lot of my own original compositions. I still have them all on disk and hope to convert them all to adfs once i get the necessary hardware.

I also have some cars for Super Skidmarks on aminet somehwere and an xtreme racing track or 2!!

I also started coding a pipemania clone, I had it 50% done in Amos then I transferred to Blitz to make an AGA only ver.. It never saw the light of day, tho I have all sprites and gfx I created and some source here Very Happy

I created one small adventure, based on our local children comic, named "Treskoprsky", but (because I was in THAT age) - was a little (maybe more) bit pornographic Smile

(This is the cover illustration of that comic.
The doggie in the window is female, so
you can imagine how my game looked like).

I made a shootem-up too, called "Ulamium" (the name was taken from one level of Uridium 2), it was a vertical space game, little similar to Galaga, but with 12 different ships of your choice. And another one, called Kronos. It was horizontal shootem-up, with spaceship, too. All these games were coded in AMOS, were amateurish and all were probably lost forever (I think I unfortunatelly didn´t spread them) during harddisk disaster. Only graphics and code fragments survived. After that accident I left Amiga. Embarassed

I used AMOS and created some great demos, and simple games. It was a fantasic tool, I was surprised how simple it was to use, all you had to know was a little knowledge on BASIC programming (which I picked up from the C64), then on AMOS, you program something very simple, and add regnosied DPaint 4 images by a load command, and (can't remember) some MOD format for great soundtracks. I meaning to try it all again oneday.

Wish I kept my oldskool stuff, I may still have em, but I doubt it today. Mad

You had to convert mod to an AMOS memory bank. I liked this language too, was very simple, structural, clear and powerful. Especially those closeable procedures. It was a fun to create with it, I agree.

I learned pascal in my first year at college and in the summer break I wrote a football manager style game using Hi Speed Pascal. It wasn't very good and I gave up before I finished because I bought Blitz Basic.

I wrote a couple of simple games with Blitz, a breakout clone and a pacman clone. I was too into women and beer to spend much time on my amiga and any spare time I did have was spent playing sensible soccer.

IIRC only demo which got released was TWWOHS AGA slideshow (coded in assembly, on A500+), but there are couple of utilities on Aminet. Lots of code died in a HD crash years ago Sad

I worked on a few games before leaving the UK for US. Mostly on graphics, but a few on design too.
Darkmere, Dragonstone, Cybernoid II, Rubicon, Insects in Space, Stormlord and Total Recall. (and some other stuff which I'll keep mum about)

I have some info on them at www.mjonegraphics.com if any one's interested.

I used to produce a lot of Dpaint stuff back in those days and at one point even teamed up with a coder to produce a Flashback clone.

Sadly due to differing ideas about how ambitious our first project should be, the game never got finished Sad

I alsways wanted to see my stuff in an actual game no matter how amateurish but unfortunatley it never happened.

If anyones interested in seeing some of my DPaint stuff, go here

I made the demos & music within the demo-scene years ago but we never got into the main amiga demo scene. We were in a group where amateurs rallied up together at places up & down the country to use our demos in competitions and the like.

Used RSI demo-creator a lot, d-paint, octamed, protracker and video creator

I also am good friends with Allister Brimble, any true Amiga fan will know who he is! Very Happy

I was in a few demo groups back in the day as a musician 'Freeman' but was mainly a swapper within the scene.... my poor postman... so many jiffy bags each day... lol I also did the 'Lunch Pak' compilation discs as I was receiving so many new intro's on their own disc... I did the music for the menus on those too. Oh, and one of my mods was on a CUCD! lol
