Ah, cheers! I didn't see that. I wasn't paying too much attention to the start of the thread as I was busy [boast] completing Spindizzy over at the Lemon64 Games Competition [/boast]

Any good is it?

What makes this number increase? _________________ 'So, you want to be a pirate? Well you've picked the right place to start.

Just completed it again but managed to change back to unspread bullets half way through the game so suffered some big score loss!
Got 2,506,380 this time. I won't upload an image cos I'll beat that tomorrow
EDIT: It's not worth getting the star IMO as it leaves you too vulnerable at the front (which is where most of the enemies come from).
Also I think the number goes up every time you collect a certain number of icons. I could be wrong though! _________________ English Amiga Board

Anyone except me noticed the near infinite score whoring opportunities available on the bosses? It's all very well instigating a 'gentleman's agreement' that we won't do this, but this will probably result in players scoring less points the more they complete the game, as they clear these areas more optimally, UNLESS they deliberately whore.
Perhaps there are all kinds of end of game bonuses I dont know about tho, I haven't completed the game yet. _________________ 'So, you want to be a pirate? Well you've picked the right place to start.

I only had one laser left to kill on the second boss and somehow managed to lose both of my remaining lives

Looks like this is my final score for the competition!
Only just made it this time, I'd already lost a life by the time I'd gotten to the first boss! Made it until the end though. Hoorah!

This is probably my final score for this round but I really wanted to break 1 million so I may have another go later tonight.

Okay dudes, that's a wrap! We didn't have too many players this month, but still had some pretty serious competition. Congoatulations to killergorilla who picked up this months competition and won the special bonus prize of a trip to Hawaii as well as twice the voting power for next round
Final scores are shown below:

I enjoyed the game quite much, but sadly I didn't have much time to play it last month because I was so busy with other parts of life. There were some great scores in this compo, so congrats to you killergorilla. Awesome job there _________________ |

I am back.
I would like to
APOLOGIZE MYSELF
to ShadowBlade. The Dark Prince persuaded me, that SB hasn´t cheated in SWIV compo. So, Craig, I am sorry. It was my fault. Can you forgive me?

Years ago I scored over 16 million by leeching the last boss. Took a few hours I think. Mad.... |
