Hi!

Sorry I haven't replied back sooner, been busy working on Lemonade and I also have university work to do in between Sad Thanks for all the suggestions so far! Smile

You could display a picture of each controller type on the screen and then highlight each button and axis in sequence asking for the user to press their desired button in return.

This is something we'll work on sometime in the future Smile Probably using DirectX, the current API calls Lemonade uses to get information about connected joysticks are limited in what information they return Sad

I would also like to see: On the Emulation Quickstart, for the amiga 600,1200 and cd32 the images to be replaced with gif images, so we can see the disk entered in the drive for example on the amiga 1200. Am i asking too much? Smile yes always, amiga must be emulated perfect, nothing less

This might be done in time Smile

i think that the game "Oh no more lemmings" must be renamed to "Lemmings: Oh no more lemmings"
Also some games like turrican the turrican 2 is named turrican 2 and the 3 is turrican III.
What about if for every game that has been reviewed to see the overall rank in the lemonade?
Are we going to see more games in future releases? amiga games i think are about 6000.
Can we use lemonade directly from a dvd? this would be very nice. and every settings that have to be saved, must use a temporary file. All the amiga games with only one click and not even installed

The games in Lemonade's database are exactly the same as the ones in Lemon Amiga's database so the naming of the games are however Kim names them from the games Smile Also because the two databases are the same, whenever a games update on Lemon Amiga is performed, you can download the new games to Lemonade by clicking the Check for Updates button Smile Or if you have automatic Update checking on, Lemonade will tell you when Lemon Amiga has new games in its database Smile

Lemonade can not be run directly from DVD at the moment.

When i click on the most played text i get a message that i have to play a game at least 5 times in order to get in the most plkayed list, but in the beggining of the lemonade in the tips of the day, a tip say that you have to play a game 10 or more times. which is correct 5 or 10?"

5. I'll fix the tip of the day text in a sec.

Also Lemonade should remember the last filter view you selected before closing the program. Does it not do this for you?

Adding favourites using the space... unsure about this one, have to think about it first. What happens if you hit the spacebar by accident? You'd have to remove the game from favourites again.

Couple more suggestions (hope all of our suggestions aren't too much for you Robert)

- How about the ability to type the first few letters of a game name to take us to that game? ie. At the moment if I'm looking for Street Fighter, I can't for example type s-t-r-e-e and see it go there. Instead I'll end up on the first game that starts with the letter e. Gamebase and MAME both do it, so this should too
- How about adding a recently viewed list? I tend to randomly click through games at a fast pace. Due to this, I may see a game that I think looks great, but because I've already clicked past it, I'd have no idea what it was. A "recent" list would help me identify, lets say the past 10 games.
- How about saving the last viewed game for a particular category? ok. More explanation required. I'm going through "All Games" and I stop at 'Colorado'. I decide to flip to my "Favourite Games". When I flip back to "All Games", I'm back at the top game on the list. I want to be on 'Colorado'!

Nope the suggestions aren't too much Wink at the moment we're working on fixing the bugs which people have reported, best to fix whats there first before adding new things which could add even more bugs.

We'll try and fix the games list so you can type the first few letters in. It used to do this, wonder why it's not doing it anymore Confused

We'll look at a most recent played list too, and saving the last viewed game like you explained.

Thanks for the suggestions again guys! I'm unsure how long it will take me to fix the bugs in Lemonade's code, I thought it might be next week but I will only have Friday and tomorrow evening to work on the program Sad I have University tomorrow and I'll be out over the weekend (I turn 23 on sunday yay!) but I'll try and fix them as soon as I can Smile

The Turrican game Lemonade finds by default with the scanner is the one which isn't properly cracked.
You can't exit world 1.

and it would also be nice and easier to update the screenshots like the the database, for example. With a single click with direct download and installation.

another nice thing would be the option to flag games we aldreay finished. Sorry for being so picky, but the app is really good so there's no big overhauls needed (apart from save states and filters)

Nice. Very nice. I've wanted something like this for a long time, but didn't have the ambition to do it myself. Thank you. Smile

One suggestion, though, and this one would probably be far-off, but: gzip support. My entire collection is a bunch of .adf.gz files, and Lemonade doesn't know what to do with them.

On the tooltip for the A500 model description, it should read: "It became an incredibly..." instead of "incredible".

(I hope you dont think I'm nit picking, just helping out!)

Lemonade has made me an Amiga freak all over again, just like I predicted when I first saw it. It's so user-friendly that even a guy like me can use it and the design is just beautiful, a true work of art. I would love to see "Lemonade 64" one day.

In fact, before I downloaded Lemonade, I wasn't able to find a decent resolution for ANY game, so I kind of gave up on Amiga emulation. But now I run all games in the 720*??? mode you can choose in Lemonade and then add scanlines to the screen and it looks just fabulous.

The only thing I'm not 100% satisfied with is that the ultra-classic Wonderboy is missing from the game list! Wink

One question. I know it's possible to hook up an old Amiga joystick to your PC. But does this work in Lemonade? It sure is difficult to play games like Sensible Soccer if you ain't got a proper joystick. The keyboard just doesn't work for all games.

just hook your joystick/pad up to the pc, and as long as windows recognies it, it'll work fine in lemonade, you just need to go to options and change the default control from keyboard to joystick 1.

btw, you need to make sure your stick is connected before starting lemonade

edit: to connect a miggy stick to your pc i reccomend a program called ppjoy, you'll need to build a interface for it tho, as your stick will connect thru your parallel port, but it's quite easy to make one, all the diagrams and docs are in the ppjoy zip file LINK

That link doesn't seem to work right now but I will search the net for more information about this PPJOY thing. Thanks for the answer!

I've just downloaded the latest version of Lemonade to replace an older version.

I removed the old version using 'Add/Remove' and deleted all the files before installing the new one.

However I have two problems. The database isn't up-to-date and I get an error message when it tries to connect to the site - So I have no database at all on Lemonade.

Also when scanning for games, it fails in Stage One - I'll reproduce the error message later whn I next use it, but its shortly after it begins and produces a total of zero games. Is this because of the database problem above?
