The runaway winner this month is the beautiful shooter Banshee.
Please note that this game is AGA ONLY. You will need to set up winuae accordingly.
Rules
This round of the competition starts now(9th May) and will end 12:00 Midnight GMT on Sunday 28th May
Score as many points as possible.
Post screenshots of your high score in this thread, and write the score underneath. It would also be nice if you could scale them to 320 x something, but don't worry if you can't.
Don't cheat!

I seriously suck at this - suffering from T,F,H,B syndrome.
Please refresh my memory - are we allowed to use the continue credits as they reset the score and lives, but I find I can score much more on later ones? I'm expecting a no on this.
Couldn't see anything in the rules thread about this but recall someone else asking. _________________

Quite right , the use of credits is not allowed although I also could find no mention of this in the rules. Not had time to play this so far but will probably submit a score later tonight. |

Cheers - I'll post my poor showing soon. Lots of practice this week.
It's the first time I've played it, and it's got excellent style. I wanna be good at it now! _________________

Basics for those without the manual:
* Picking up three BUILD UPS ('B' powerup; green circles on your on-screen display) ensure that when you die you don't lose your pick-ups
* Loops are activated with space bar. Your loops can do damage to enemies. |

Or right mouse button if you use mouse,
or button two on a gamepad! _________________

138,267 (finished)
Didn't take long to get back into this game... Not the most challenging shooter.

Try using the arrow keys for control. (Same as the MAME default settings.) This allows you to use three fingers for direction control without having to stretch between forward and backward as much. |

I wish I could. It's an OSX emulator issue (E-UAE) I haven't resolved. When using cursor keys on most games the right control fire button doesn't work for me. I've asked about, but no-one has offered any solutions. So I soldier on - trying to retrain my fingers. It's a shame, because I do like shmups a lot.
So far:

Well, I might still be bringing up the rear, but I'm getting to grips with it now, and every point counts. More than doubled my last score.

What version have you played?
The version supported by Lemonade is the DLM crack, and it crashes after you complete the third level. |

Stupid cracks! I played the harddrive installed version from my own copy. |
