Recently I got the opportunity to have an interview with Martyn Brown of Team 17. He has had a hand in some of the best Amiga games ever; Alien Breed, Superfrog and Worms to name a few. You can read the interview here.

There is at least one game that was not mentioned in the beginning of the interview, Miami Chase.

Miami Chase wasn't a Team17 release Smile It was released by Codemasters a little before T17 itself was formed. Yes, it was the same team - but we hadnt made the decision to self-publish at that point, as such it was slick, but a little empty imho. Full Contact was almost-done when T17 was formed and the first decision was to only do 1mb games where we could, this came a little too for FC.

It has even the same logo, expect that text is "Team 7" instead of 17. Wonder why is that.

Because the dev team (then Andreas Tadic, Pete Tuleby and Rico Holmes) were calling themselves Team7 back then. When Team17 was formed, the logo was adapted to reflect it.

Nice interview, if just a tad on the short side! None the less, it's always nice to get some words from the heroes.

Good work, Haplo! Very Happy
