Finally I found an old picture titled "Pac dream" which I painted in DPaint IV for the "Amiga Workshop 2000" compo in Brno, here in Czech Republic. I got a 2nd prize at those days Cool . I titled myself "Graphic Storm" between years 1993 - 2000 and was a member of small group called Goldgame.

Now, the picture may look very poor, but the main objects were put together pixel-by-pixel with using the horrible Amiga mouse. Note for example shadows and tiny details.

There are few other DPaint pictures, that I recently found in my old harddisk and if you like this one, I could post few more here. Does anyone have his own old creation from the golden Amiga ages? Please, share them with us!

PS: the picture was originally ILBM-IFF of course, I've only converted it to gif due the internets publishing.

Very nice art Predseda - I like the attention of detail!

I hope PPaint pictures are OK for this thread as well. Razz When my sister was like 5 years old back in 1995, she really enjoyed drawing in PPaint so here's a few examples. She also liked to give her pictures funny Swedish names. Smile

I used Super72 800x600 with my multisync monitor, just in case you find it weird that some pics are 800x600. Smile

Here we go:
Giraffen Bingo (Bingo the Giraffe)
Hjärtat (The Heart) - I draw this one up on request from her
Långhals och Häxa (Longneck and Witch)
Långhalsen och Igenkotten (The Longneck and the Hedgehog)

Here is a link to a thread over at EAB where I posted some of my dpaint stuff.

Its a fraction of the stuff I actually produced back in the early 90s, but theyre some of my favourites Smile

You definitely need a lot of patience for pixel art. I used to draw everything pixel by pixel under the zoom tool.

Bippy

Nice work. I like the Freddie Mercury (?) one best.
