Most of the games in the previous round have been added with todays update, so here we go again...
Did you look for a very cool game and didn't find it on Lemon Amiga? If so, please let us know here and we will eventually add it for the next games update.
If you requested a game earlier which didn't appear, please post it here again. _________________

So, basically, we beat HoL?
Whatever, what really matters, the only thing that matters in life, actually, is to reach 3000 right?
I come back with another shareware I really enjoyed back in 1995 ( ) : BLOB KOMBAT! Hahaha...
Here's the file, and the disk from Amiga power #54.
3000! 3000! Here we come! _________________

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean.
The statistics say...
Games on Hall of Light: 5114
Games on Lemon Amiga: 2826 _________________

Yes, though quantity isn't very important to me. We've got more than enough games IMHO, and we mainly add new games because we can and because we like to satisfy requests. LA is still young and there are enough cool and original ideas in store to "beat" any Amiga site out there. _________________

True, but as you probably noticed, the more games, the more bells you ring _________________

I'd rather have less games on LA than 5000+ games and no comments, reviews and ratings on them like on HOL. HOL is purely a database while LA is fun (Oh, and LA looks better!) |

Actually, not including the likes of ratings and reviews was a conscious decision rather than an oversight. The HOL was intended to catalogue Amiga games objectively and provide a source of data. That's its point.
Reviews are good but there are already plenty of magazine reviews written back in the day and the likes of the Amiga Games Database includes loads. Ratings are slightly meaningless and open to manipulation by fans of certain games but are useful if these drawbacks are accepted.
There have been requests for the HOL to include more subjective data and it probably is worth adding it - but as a companion site specialising in this sort of thing.
As for the "look" of the HOL - it already looks great but there are far more important things on it that needs attention - sorry. |

Actually, I think HOL is great as it is and shouldn't change. I should have included that in my previous post. I'm just happy that we have both sites to fill our needs!

Hall of Light as a reliable source of information without subjective data is great the way it is and shouldn't change. |

Better stick to topic now or It'll be difficult to look through the missing games. _________________
