|
|
During the last few days I've been working on an advanced search engine for this site.
Before it goes live I'd like you all to test it and report any bugs, confusing stuff, wanted features, changes and opinions in general...
You can test it here:
www.lemonamiga.com/games/index.php?search=advanced
EDIT: I has now gone live, but more testing is needed. _________________

Good to hear! I hope someone can manage to break it though or find it really confusing so that I can fix it. _________________

A reset button would be nice.
If i run a search then go back to the advanced search my previous settings are still there. That's great - usually. But sometimes i want to start an all new search and a button to reset all options to blank would prevent me from having to manually reset each option.
Looks and works great though. _________________ Don't be waylaid by the empty rhetoric of the uninformed. |

Since it seems to work pretty well I've now put it live... more testing needed though. I will keep improving and testing it for the rest of the evening. _________________

This option alone doesn't find any. That doesn't mean it don't work though. There probably isn't anything with that many screen shots. _________________ Don't be waylaid by the empty rhetoric of the uninformed. |

Wow. That is a really intense search feature. When you say advanced, you mean it. _________________ Never confuse implied oral consent with expressed written consent. |

I'll try to add a reset button using javascript so that it doesn't reload the page.

I take this as a big compliment. And more advanced it will get, while I try to simplify the standard search and still making it somehow flexible. _________________
