Kim, why dont you use a system that do not consider the 3 best votes and the 3 worst votes, or the 5 best votes and the 5 vorst votes?
I think 5/5 is better than 3/3.
This will allow to have some more true accurate votation.
For example:
A game has
25 people votes 10
18 people votes 9
17 peoples votes 8
and
7 people votes 1
now you can see that 1 is a sort of punishement vote, so using this system we have:
25-5 people votes 10 ===> 20 people votes 10
and 7-5 people votes 1 ===> 2 people votes 1
if there are less than 5 best/worst votes, then we can not consider them until they dont reach 5
what do you think?
I think it's an ok way, so some classic games, that have some 1 just to "punish them for some reason or for funny" can have a better votation
and on the other side, some overrated games who have too much 10 could have a more balanced votation too...
