Controller not working - getting confused

Hi

I am new to Amiga emulation but am a long term Amiga fan so, having discovered Lemonade, am loving it!

I have downloaded some games and they work fine but am having other problems and was wondering if someone could help.

I have a USB comp pro joystick and have managed to get some games working (eg superfrog) by setting port 1 to keyboard C and port 2 to Joystick. This way I can press Left ALT on the title screen and the joystick works on the game screen.

However some games i've downloaded (eg Putty) just won't allow me to get past the title (or cracked) screen or won't recoginise either controller,

My winUAE settings are default to mouse/joystick (and can't change these through my Amiga Forever download) so have seleted 'overide WineUAE settings' in Lemonade.

Has anyone got any help with this as it happens with loads of games and can't understand why, particularly as all settings appear to be the same as the games that do work.

Try setting port 0 back to Mouse, but keep port 1 as joystick. Many of the crack screens in games require you to press the left, right or combination of both mouse buttons to get past the crack screen/intro.

This is how I have my version of Lemonade set up (have the same joystick as you) and it works fine for nearly all of the games.

You've also just made me aware of something small we may need to change in the Lemonade update, thanks! And welcome to Lemon Amiga!!
