Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge
I feel the need for speed. Screeching tyres, a funky stereo system, crash barriers that really hurt, punny racing drivers, crazy road signs, and those helpful mechanics. And don't forget to create your own in game music remixes by driving up on the curbs. A true classic of the racing genre. Start your engines...
Rules:
This round of the competition starts now (1st of July) and will end 11:59pm GMT on Sunday 22nd of July
Score as many points as possible.
Post screenshots of your high score in this thread, and write the score underneath. It would also be nice if you could scale them to a width of 320 x something, but don't worry if you can't.
Don't cheat!

My score 93
I couldn't take the picture playing the first time (I pressed fire too many times and the screen with the top10 table didn't appear), so I had to play again. This is why the second of my entries is highlighted. |

Arrgh, this game is rather difficult. I'm not sure if I'm going to compete, since I don't have much of the stomach to fight my way through the competition. _________________

Yeah - some races are tougher than I expected/remembered. Bit of practice you should get through a few races no probs.
It's still worth submitting a score anyway - just to get your name up in the championship. It's the only way I stay up there. _________________

Okay, I won one race, but I got 10th place there so I only got 1 point. Screw this competition, I'm going to be a sore loser an wait until the thing is finally over. And why do Hard race when there is someone who has the stomach to fight, yet not knowing what the game is and he doesn't have it, therefore having no practice, and that he never owned an actual Amiga because his mom refuses to buy him one since she thinks it will shut down permanently sooner. Oh dear baby Jesus, please have mercy next time. _________________

If people would prefer to do a combined score of all three difficulties, or a different level, then go ahead and say so. It can be changed if enough people want it. _________________
