Hi there!
I am using Lemonade a long time now, what happened to the development? I read in some thread that KL wanted to rewrite it from scratch...
What about using GNU/C++ for a new Lemonade Tool, so it can run on Linux too without problems, since many people are using Linux+UAE for emulation?
I'm just an intermediate programmer, but I'm sure there are some good devs out there, I would like to help too!
Sincerly,

I hate to admit this, but I neither have the time or energy to work on Lemonade. I worked on Lemonade while being single and unemployed. Now with a girlfriend, a full time job, a more social life and a whole lot of private projects with higher priority I consider Lemonade totally dead. Even if someone want to continue with the coding I have no time at all to manage the project.
Thanks everyone for your support, suggestions and and cheerful comments. I really looked forward to release 1.0, but it never made it! _________________

I'll have speak with to Robert about this since 95% of the coding is his job. _________________

Seems a shame if it is discontinued... _________________ "Is there an expansion for the C64 so it can play Amiga games?" - genuine question from the letters page of Commodore Force

I'm certainly disappointed, especially considering how close to finished it is. _________________ Don't be waylaid by the empty rhetoric of the uninformed. |

It was developed in VB6, which ofcourse is very obsolete these days. I really really wish I had the time and patience for a brand new Lemonade. It had great potential, and that's what bothers me the most. _________________

| I myself have dabbled in VB6 but I wouldn't say I'm the most experienced at it. But as you say, it's quite obsolete. |

What about releasing the database as CSV? I'd love to try myself on a similar tool, of course you would get tons of credits in the Tool |

So, finally it is a fact....
It would indeed be quite interesting to re-write the program in, for instance, C#. I myself cannot possible take on this project, for the same reasons as Kim.... we are not children any more, unfortunately.... but I would be happy to help, if someone else would take on the role of Project Manager |

This is too bad, and too sad.
But Lemonade can continue to be used to years to come
(atleast in suitable Windows).
If only we can add to the game-list ourselves, though... |
