Has anyone noticed that most of the CD32 rips/iso/bin/cue files floating around are mising something?? Missing and incomplete (missing time index for .bin files) .cue files, Missing or incomplete .mp3's... Seems like if your gonna rip it in the first place, rip it correctly...
And BTW, for those interested, Sega Make Cue program works for more then just SegaCD and Saturn rips... |

| I don't mind an iso + mp3, but a full cue+ bin is always the best |

FLAC - http://flac.sourceforge.net/ The Standard for lossless audio compression
APE - (file extention/alternate name of Monkey's Audio) - http://www.monkeysaudio.com Slightly smaller file sizes than FLAC, but propietery. _________________ It's not me it's me brain! |

If anyone was going to sort out the TOSEC CDTV/32's I'd recommend they use FLAC for the .wav files without tags to avoid possibilities of mis-identity if a tag has changed.
Then if people want to distribute these on emule, FTP's or whatever they can distribute as is with image/cue/flacs or with image/cue/apes if they want to save about 1% of the music. And for people who don't care about sound too much they could distribute mp3's of the wav files.
e.g.
ed2k://jimscd32gamecoverscueimage.rar would contain jimscd32game.jpg, jimscd32game.iso & jimscd32game.cue
Then user downloads an additional audio file (comprising all audio tracks ripped as one file with EAC) depending on their fussyness:
ed2k://jimscd32game.flac or ed2k://jimscd32game.mp3 _________________ It's not me it's me brain! |

I don't have it and don't want it. If I had one, I would try and get the original ones and not an image, with faults and all on it, it would only stress me out. _________________ International Karate is being remade on the PS2 |

Yes, I do! I have the ripped cd32 image of Pirates! Gold. I also have the converted version for the A1200. And most of my Amiga games are cracks! But with a Amiga CD32 or other cd using computers/consoles I like the originals. _________________ International Karate is being remade on the PS2 |
