Borg
Hi all. I'm new to the site, but been emulating for ever. Still have my running 500!
Anyway, I have about 10G of adf's and Lemonade shows me with 1753 out of 2142 playable, about 82%. Most of them Lemonade picked up by itself, some I got working manually by tweaking to different adf's or WinUAE system configs and I can get most of the CD32's to work manually in WinUAE. But my dilema is this...
I'd like to prune my adf collection down to only those I am using in Lemonade. Most of the games have at least 3 versions that are just taking up HD space. If I could get an export out of my local Lemonade DB as to which adf's it is using then I could archive the others to backup storage.
I tried the Lemonade "OPTIONS|ENCYCLOPEDIA|BACKUP DATABASE and got an .adb file, which I assume is some type of database file. When I tried to open it in MSACCESS it wanted a password. I assume this means that ACCESS recognized it and it could be opened if I had the password.

I don't want to hack anything, just export out a list of the .adf's Lemonade is using without having to manually sift through the front end interface for each game.

I too am a programmer of old. Once in a galaxy far, far away I wrote a business database application for state government. The one raw source code file could be compiled on Amiga (of course), Atari ST, IBM (it was just the beginning of "The Clone Wars", if you had a PC it was an IBM) and MacSE! Borg Quite an accomplishment at the time if I do say so myself.

Perhaps, now that I am retired (due to disability) I could take a crack at Lemonade?

...nice place here...

Lemonade is discontinued, I suggest you take a look at GameBase Amiga instead. Wink

I know it's discontinued. Just wondering if anyone knew the password for the exported database.
