Hi everyone. First of all please excuse my english.
I am new to amiga (big noob). When i was 10 i played a few games on amiga 500 since then i always wanted to own one. Now after 20 yaers i finally bought one (hard to find such thing in romania).
What i have bought is A600 with mouse, psu and a strange floppy with a db25 connector, and also a blue disk with no label (the guy told me that is a workbench). The problem is that the floppy is damaged (not loading). I searched over the internet for a solution to copy wb. on a 1.44 MB floppy but no succes. I managed to build one null modem cable but in order to play games i understood that workbench bust be loaded.
Can somebody help me to find a solution for loading workbench?
Thank you all! |

First advice: if you want to use your ami for games, you dont need workbench. Generally - if you do not have HDD, you almost do not need workbench. _________________

~95 % of all games for Amiga does not need WorkBench, just plug & go !
For more complex games (there are a few in existence) You will need hard disk with pre-installed WorkBench on it. For now, just go with what You have - it's enough for fun
EDIT : @Predseda - You outruned me _________________ ☭ Some people says : Amiga has no future ! ☭ |
