You should get Super Metroid; it's the best platformer ever. F-ZERO, too; it beats the pants off of Super Mario Kart.

Incorrect. You lose 100 points and miss a go. F-Zero is a fine game, but Mario Kart is one of the best games of all time. Please make amendments to you preferences Dan Locke.

However I've just bought a Star Wars NES cart, but have no NES. Here we go again..........

Get Earthworm Jim, The Misadventures of Flink, and Puggsy, and you'll be in platform heaven.

ha! enjoy.

As for the Sega Megadrive, I never really understood the appeal of Sonic, but like Dan says Earthworm Jim was excellent. I think my biggest gripe with the Megadrive was the controller, just didn't like it compared to the SNES one. If I had to rewind time and make a choice between the systems then it's a SNES everytime.

Besides, it's mostly the fourth game anyway. It really should have been called Gran Turismo 4.5.
