So here we go with a few more video reviews. These are quite long!
Indy Heat - Just as the competition ends, I thought it would be great to cover this game. It's my first longplay - so I hope you like it. Experience the thrills of this crazy racer from start to finish; featuring my personal upgrade route; as well as a few crashes, dashes, and bugs(!). Aspect ratio stretched.
Dynablaster - A play-guide to this 1hr 40minute game compressed down to 20 mins. This is a loooong game! I tried to cover the strategy element but kinda ran out of what to say . We also look at the multiplayer deathmatch modes and bit of 'MasterBlaster' as well.
P.P Hammer - A real-time play-guide to the first few levels, and a peek at some of the later ones. Quite a bit shorter this video. Also, the intro music - what do you think?.
The Adventures of Quik and Silva - A video review of this little gem, which is available free from Aminet. Experience the fun of a platformer with a big heart - but watch out for those classic Amiga critters! (sorry for the sound glitches)

Neat intro and spinning world was cool. Maybe a tad long on the amiga icon's and hero's animation screen but cool all the same. That could just be me being hungry to see the actual video as well tho.
Never played Indy Heat on Amiga as I bought the C64 version so was most interested in having a look. Fun to watch. Thanks! I made sure the whole of the 'Amiga Heroes' animation (good name )went into the Indy Heat show; as this was the first time I got to use it. The animation took me six solid days to make - often working till late at night; it's surprising how hard it can be to green-screen and otherwise cut around all those screen rips to be able to isolate a character. The full thing runs for about 45 seconds (which feels longer than it is), and the rest of the videos will feature parts of the animation no longer than 25 seconds. I am quite happy with it actually, although I'd've liked to have included even more.

Ace! Love the support. Each video takes two solid days to make, so I try to make the most of it by doing a few together. If I do all the screen rips at the same time, I can usually edit one video per day - although they do take quite a few hours to render and upload.
BTW, Evil Censor had the idea of setting up a voting system for future videos, with the idea of having something on the title screen of the site. I'd like your feedback on whether this would be a good idea, and whether you'd prefer to see a vote on the title page or perhaps purely in the forums.... This is our site, so make it count.
I'm taking a short break from making videos, but I'll be back in a week or two. Would be good to get some feedback on the voting idea - or do you just want it random? At the moment I'm thinking about making four videos: perhaps Monkey 2, Supercars 2, Lotus Trilogy and Hunter. Whaddya reckon??

Hi, as promised, this weekend I've posted a brand new video to the Lemon Here are the next batch of three video reviews. These are the longest yet!
Hunter - This is a gameplay guide to Hunters three selectable mission scenarios, including tips on weapons, vehicles, how to fly a helicopter, and where to find the locations of important items. This (slightly drunk *) review makes a good introduction to the game as we fly around and see places - and was itself inspired after viewing the Jim Plays Games playthru on his channel.
Pang - A real-time playguide to the first 33 levels (first half) of Pang, along with hints and tips, and a demonstration of how to beat each level in turn. The review also includes a comparison to the Arcade version on several levels, and we get to shoot the spaceman too!
Super Hang-On - A longplay guide to the whole game (minus the last 5% or so) as we race over each of the four scenarios of Super Hang-On. The review compares the Amiga version to the Arcade in several places, and we also get to see the 'level complete' screens, and me falling off the bike at the end. For some strange reason the youtube version of this video is 1 second out of sync... even though my original video file plays absolutely fine... weird.

A Playthu Guide Special! - Monkey Island 2: Le Chucks Revenge
This 1 hour+ playthru special will guide us through the first two-thirds of the whole game. It took 12 days to make this video, and then 7.5 hours to upload it! As such, the full gaming experience has been 'compressed' into the time available, and re-cued to a full-length remixed musical accompaniment. Some of the jokes and dialogue have been removed so as not to take away from the actual gameplay. A reluctant voice-over has also been added; hopefully without distracting the viewer from the overall movie experience.

Nice one for Super Hang-On lifeschool. Can't believe people ever thought it was arcade perfect but that must of been school boy class room talk back in the day or something.
Also hard to believe that in the land of PAL the Sega Megadrive version was dog slow although it looked and sounded the part... Wasn't until some years later when it was re-released on a compilation called Mega Games 6 did they make an effort to optimize it's overall speed, but at times this caused it to slow down back to the original snail pace for a second or so on a couple of up hill corners. End result was much more playable, but too little too late. So if you didn't know and have a real Megadrive hanging about hunt a copy down if you dare.
I hear there is an arcade perfect version sitting on Wii market place only available in Japan.
