Never heard of the game Supergrog. Is it any good?

Score: 3,434,000

Wow, so many great scores by Lemon (finally!) - GO TEAM LEMON!

I died on (I think) 7.3 - the penultimate level - the one with the massive jump over spikes which you need a good pair of wings for (and preferably autofire). Well, I got to that part after nursing the same poxy two or three lives over from the Project F level (not hard, very easy level, in fact the easiest in the game - and I'm usually not very good at space shooters). Anyway, I got to that 'hover over spikes' moment and bumped my head on the roof while trying to fly; which prevented me from making it to the other side and so I died. Then, having lost or picked up all the wings on that level, I was forced to commit suicide! Not a great score. May have one more go towards the end, but no high-score-jacking from me on this game...

That's the last level in the game and very close to the end. It's not catastrophe to die on that spike flying, because there isn't that many points available anymore. Score is made earlier in the game.

And the tactic to the flying is not to hit to the roof Smile Taking it easy enough, but still maintain the flying... it's fine without autofire too Smile I think I jumped pretty far from the edge last time...

bleeeegh

835 150

Loosing all lifes on spikes ain't fun. You jump, hit a flying creature or fireball that shows up from nowhere and drop down in straight vertical line directly to the spikes. This isn't fun at all. You shouldn't stop moving while hitting something in the air that hurts you, cause this way you don't have control over falling, in my case many times directly on the spikes. Game has a major flaws as far as surviving mechanisms go. Maybe it was fun playing it as a kid with cheats like countless lifes but not like this, not for me.
