I'm using the adfs posted in the thread. But when I complete World 3, after I've beaten the boss and the next level starts loading I get this and the next level never appears.

I am using this configuration: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=83JQPZY5

Does anyone know why this would happen? It's not a once off, it's happened twice now.

Insert disk 2, click left mousebutton,
insert disk 1, click left mousebutton,
Insert disk 2, click left mousebutton,
insert disk 1, click left mousebutton
and the level should load.

Or just get the Melnok crack ADFs (EAB File Server has them) - then you can put disk 1 in DF0: and disk 2 in DF1: and never have to swap disks.

Not yet reached level 3 but happened to me once in others adf´s...
I'm not sure but maybe because the kickstart´s , maybe run in 1.3 Kickstart works well...

Someone on the Games thread asked about a game with a cow in it. I typed 'Amiga Milking' into google to see if there were any farming games and lo! - it comes up with the EAB compo thread of Turrican II. I had to laugh. Laughing

Last days of the compo and some great scores coming in. Nice to see TurricanX completing the game. I knew you would. Can't understand why so many folks are getting stuck in the scenery, although it has happened to me too - so I guess I set the president on that one. Just bad luck. Really bad luck..

@ Shawn - yes the fish is in Turrican 1

@ chuckles - Would be great to see you get to level 1.2 at least. Which bit are you stuck on? Let me guess, the mid-level boss, right? To take out this guy, stand roughtly in the middle of the screen and hold down fire to spark up the surround lazer beam. Have it pointed up at the rocks falling from the roof until the guy stops jumping, and then aim the lazer at his head. With any luck, the lazer will just miss the tip of his gun and hit him in the face. Then back to the falling rocks until he stops jumping again. Also make sure to use all the blast waves (space) you have. After defeating the boss, jump into the gyro-ball and roll to the right. You'll pick up a health powerup, and you can defeat the small dragon with a blast wave to just drop lots of bombs (fire while in giro-ball mode) to eventually take him out. Then head up/right/down/right/up-up-up-up/right to exit.

BTW! - In case we have any Ruff N Tumble fans still out there, and you have Java/Flash installed on your browser, check this:

http://recordedamigagames.ath.cx/ruff/play.php

You can play it online or download it to your desktop. The first level boss is the jumping guy from Turrican 2 1.1 (mentioned above) - although he's much harder to take down with the weedy Ruff gun Wink
