Yes it looks good, but am I the only one now thinking it's just an easy way to grab a load of dosh from the fans.

I can understand games that will no way get developed, but Revolution have made a huge success out of the series - surley they would have got the backing for a new game?

They have raised some serious money on the Kickstarter since it launched though, which makes the Wings campaign look more than the dead duck it already is.

Taking the mickey mouse some of it...

There is a new Dreamcast game which has a massive kickstarter spread and while people have been handing over money I believe, not 100% sure but they have been shipping full copies right under the noses of the people that have pledged. In other words it was already finished.

Must be more of this is going on. Easy way to make even more money. Evil or Very Mad

Edit: I better add I'm sure your get a copy of the game but this is just being used as a way to sell even more with a guaranteed lump sum to cover the price of the fancy ones people have pledged for which I'm sure adds even spare change left over after everything has been done. An extended shop front as it were...

Curios: if a Kickstarter fails to get the required bounty in
a set amount of time, what happens to the cash?

It will be very easy for them to get money through the kickstarter and I am more than sure that the final budget will be much more than asked 400 000. Broken Sword series is one of the best adventure experience ever seen on the screen and I am looking forward to the new game.

Read the kickstarter rules and principles, it is very easy.
