Hi Everyone, I would like to give a quick intro. I have already found quite a bit of useful information on this board and look forward to learning and sharing.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and have been a bit of a computer geek since I could talk.

I had several computers when I was a kid including the TI 99/4A, Commodore 64, and then the Amiga 500.

The Amiga was my baby, and I always dreamed of getting a 2000 with a hard drive.

I have two little boys of my own now, and have started playing around with the machines from when I was a kid.

My goal is to leave my old A500 stock, but to get a built up 2000 and possibly a 600 or 1200 with a compact flash card kit.

I look forward to all the Amiga talk to come!

Ah, the TI 99/4A. I stumbled across Texas Instruments name in an article the other day about RFID. I find it fascinating that a company would produce calculators, PCs, and educational toys whilst also doing RFID, AI, and military defence tech. I wonder if Commodore ever thought about doing missile guidance systems? lol

Welcome. Smile

I would say probably more interested in games at this point.

Although lately I have been spending most of my time trying to get the hard drive setup the way I want in my "new" A2000
