Hi all I only seem to have one problem with my winUAE and that's the sound when the game runs,it seems to play ok for a split second then seems to echo continuously.
I have windows XP with Pentium 4 and a Creative sound blaster card installed.
I have tried the sound tab and moved all the slide controls and pushed all the buttons I could but with no effect?
The only thing I have not tried was the Driver section (bottom left) could some one please help me.
Kind Regards.

First of all, check which devices share the same IRQ of Sound Blaster.

Cheers,
Oge

Hi,

Which version of WinUAE are you using? and does this happen in any other games you play in Windows!?

Hi Mark the version that I have is 24.1.0 I use the Dos Box and C64 Emulators a fair bit and have no problems with them.
Thanks for the reply.

Try using portaudio instead in directsound.

Download the portaudio library at winuae.net and place the .dll where winuae.exe is located.
Then select portaudio driver in the dropdown menu in WinUAE sound tab.

Thanks for the reply I will try the above and will get back to you with the results.
Kind Regards.

Ok I have done what you said but if I don't uncheck the port audio circle in the driver box before I quit the emulator when I load it but up I get an error message twice saying that "MSVCR100.dll was not found.
This was easily fixed thou but I have found that if I slide the "Sound buffer size" to the Max of ten then slide the floppy drive sound down to zero then go to quickstart tab and slide the CPU power down to low that seems to fix it.
Hope this makes sense to you as I have no clue myself lol.
Anyway any feed back would be received with thanks.
Kind Regards once again.
