I'm wondering if original source code from amiga (c64) games are online, and freely available. Or is it lost in time forever? John Carmack releases his work after 5 years or so (Doom/Quake), would be great to see the source of some of the games that I've played when I was young. I'd love to see the source code from Exile, Warhead, some C64 games.

Someone should make a site dedicated to classic games, where programmers could send in the source code, which will be released after a certain time. As a result this would mean better conversions as well.

Hi,

In case you (or anyone else, obviously) is interested, AMOS source code is available from Francois Lionet's current project website:

Cool

I knew it - Alien Breed was written with AMOS!

Any links to good source code - either C or Assembly would be nice to see though.. providing legal of course.
